Rumple Christmas

The Rumple Family Christmas was nice this year - we opened a couple of gifts each on Christmas Eve, and then opened the rest on Christmas morning. Auntie Kate came over on Christmas day for dinner and she took our family picture by the tree. Henry received lots of fun books and toys, and Jack also got a ton of new toys and treats. Mom and Dad didn't do too bad, either... Henry seemed to like his new toys, but really liked playing with the bows and wrapping paper the most!

Henry Meets Santa!

Henry got to meet Santa the other day at Cherry Creek Mall! He did so well - he wasn't scared at all and had a perfect smile for the camera! I guess Santa will be bringing lots of presents this year for one special little boy!

Henry Turns 1 !!!

Today was Henry's 1st birthday! I can't believe that my baby boy is already a year old. He is growing and changing so fast. Every day I am in awe of his progress. We had a great birthday party and lots of wonderful friends came to help celebrate with Henry. He really seemed to enjoy himself - especially while eating cake and rubbing icing all over his face and hair! He also received a ton of great toys and books. Thanks to all of the friends and family that helped to make Henry's big day great.

Henry's First Haircut

Henry's first haircut went very well! He was growing quite the mullet, so we decided it was time for the haircut before his big first birthday party. He wasn't scared at all, just curious about the noise that the clippers made. Thanks to Little B's Salon in Park Hill! Great experience!

Thanksgiving in Tucson

Henry's first Thanksgiving was spent in Tucson this year with lots of family. We all had a great time. Here is Henry with his first Thanksgiving dinner.

Sylvia made Henry an early 1st birthday cake - Arizona style! It looked like a Saguaro cactus! Henry loved digging his hands into it!

Mom and Henry meet the Birdman!

Today Henry and I stood in line for almost an hour to get our picture taken with the Birdman, Chris Andersen, from the Nuggets. We wore all of our Nugget gear and Henry even wore his hair in a mohawk!
It was exciting to meet him! He even signed our picture!

Henry is 11 months old!

Henry is 11 months old today! I can't believe that in one month he'll be a year old!

Rumple Halloween

We had a pretty good Halloween at the Rumple home this year. We took Henry to "Trick or Treat Street at the Children's Museum," but he wasn't quite old enough to really understand what was going on. Henry was a skeleton on Friday, and a monkey on Saturday. Jack was a banana to go along with Henry's monkey. Jack really hates dressing up, though.
We got a babysitter on Halloween night so that Mom and Dad could get dressed up and go to a Halloween party. Cory was Tom Cruise's character, Les Grossman, from the movie, "Tropic Thunder." I was a 1940s Navy pin-up girl. We all had a great time! Can't wait until next year when Henry is old enough to trick-or-treat!

Snow Day #2

We woke up to over 15 inches of snow in our backyard this morning, and then it snowed all day today again! I think we probably have about 20 inches by now! The snow is tapering off now, and is supposed to be completely finished sometime tonight... Now we begin the melting process! Tomorrow is only supposed to be 40 degrees, but the weekend will be sunny and in the 50s, and by Tuesday it will be sunny and 65 degrees! I'm guessing it will be a sloppy, wet week!

I snapped this great picture of Cory and Henry while Cory was shoveling the sidewalk. Our boy is getting so big - and so adorable!

First Snow of the Season!

First big snow of the season - and it really is a big one! It has been snowing all day, and is supposed to continue into the night! By the end, we're supposed to have 10 -18 inches in the city! Henry seemed to be enjoying himself playing in the white stuff!

Henry's New Chair

We bought an "Anywhere Chair" for Henry recently. He seems to like watching TV or looking at books in it, but not for too long because he is constantly wanting to be on the move! I'm thinking that Jack is a bit jealous - maybe we should order him one with his name on it?!
