Henry is 5 months old!

Henry is 5 months old today! I can't believe how quickly the time has passed! He is growing and changing so much. It is amazing to watch him try new things every day. Now, if only he would sleep through the night!

Henry's First Cold

Yes, we made it almost 5 months without getting sick... But Henry is trying to get over his first cold now. You would never know he was sick by looking at the picture I took of him a couple of mornings ago, though! He has been such a little trooper! The first full day of his cold was so bad that we took him to see the doctor. Turns out, we were just overly concerned first-time parents. We were instructed to give him Tylenol for his sore throat and to suction out his nose. We were surprised when they weighed him at the doctor's office - 14 lbs, 14 ounces! He is getting so big!!

Frank's Visit

This weekend our friend Frank came to visit us from St. Louis. Henry was very interested in the big man staying in our house that he had never seen before. Thursday night we had a babysitter stay with Henry for the first time - her name is Lindsey and I think that Henry really likes her so far. While Lindsey stayed with Henry, Cory, Frank, and I went to one of our favorite Mexican restaurants - Benny's. It was very fun! Friday evening, Cory and Frank enjoyed happy hour at the Uptown Tavern and ended the evening at the Downtown Tavern. Today is Saturday, and we are all pretty tired so we have decided to relax at home and watch the Bulls/Celtics game 7 - very exciting! Go Bulls!
