We had a wonderful Easter at the Rumple house this year. For many years, Cory and I have spent holidays like Easter and Thanksgiving with our friends in Elbert - the Hermes family. Since Henry is here, and the Hermes family now has 6 young grandsons (!), we decided to spend Easter at our house this year and begin our own family traditions. We had a great time coloring Easter eggs with Henry and the Easter Bunny brought him an awesome Easter basket filled with books, videos, and candy. He loved the green Peeps! Jack even got an extra special treat-filled Easter breakfast. Henry's playmate Lucie and her parents, Erica and Andrew Flynn, came over for an Easter egg hunt. It was fun watching Henry and Lucie (and Jack!) look for the eggs.
We had a great holiday and can't wait for many more family celebrations! Next year, Auntie Em will live here in Denver, so we'll have even more fun!
